There are several aspects of an e-shoot that make it a momentous step in your journey.

1) ENJOYABLE
Getting married is about adventure, thrill and embracing each other every single day. After all, you chose to take this step in your life because you ENJOY the company of each other.
Since your wedding day will likely be a day of mixed emotions, your engagement photoshoot is your chance to be YOU and have a blast!
Our goal is to bring out your true personality and emphasize who you are all while laughing, getting to know you, sharing stories, and capturing every moment of it all.

2) THEMED
Themes set the tone. Picking a location that represents who you are can make or break the images we capture. Don't worry though - this is where we step in to help you determine what would work best for both of you.
Themes can be based on location, a dressing style, a time of day, a season, or a significant moment in your life.
Our engagement shoots were done on a set of rocks by the lake where we proposed and got engaged, and the restaurant we went to on our first date!
Go back and think about what moments in your relationship lead you to getting married, and we'll bet we can create a theme around that!
3) CREATIVE
Creativity is our strongest asset! We're both super creative and hands-on, and we feed off of each other's ideas.
Images are limited by cameras. A huge part of the images we capture is lighting, editing, posing and perspective. We're masters at our craft, and regardless of the situation, we can make even the most dull image look impeccable.
A skilled photographer is one that can adjust ad accommodate in the heat of the moment. If you prefer dramatic images, we can do it. If you prefer soft and simple, we can do it. If you prefer mute tones and high contrast, we can do it.
With our several years of experience and thousands of dollars of camera and lighting equipment, there is no limit to what our minds and skills can create!

Just like any other relationship, when you get to know the other person, the bond gets stronger and it becomes easier to understand how they think.
Sitting down and chatting or having a video conference is the best way for us to ask you those deep-level questions to help establish who you are, your story, and your desires and visions for your engagement photo session.
We will push your creativity, offer you opinions to help guide you, and ensure that we create your perfect moments exactly how you envision.
If you don't already have an idea, don't worry! We promise to have you wanting MULTIPLE engagement sessions with our suggested-ideas by the time we're done with you!
2) THINK ABOUT LOCATION AND TIME
Photos can look drastically different based on the environment they are shot in, as well as the time of day. Lighting is everything in photography! If you want dramatic, cinematic and rich looking images, consider an evening shoot just as the sun is going down, or in the early night.
We recommend having an emotional connection with the place you choose to take your engagement shots. This will allow your excitement and thrill to shine through the images we capture. Perhaps where you had your first date, kiss, or introduction! Maybe consider when you shared a funny or embarrassing moment that helped define your relationship.
We've mastered shooting with strobes and lights, so whether you'd like to shoot in broad sunlight or at midnight, we'll be sure to acquire the images you're looking for.

3) CONSIDER DRESS CODE AND ACCESSORIES
This might seem like an easy, last minute thing to do, but trust us - the attire and accessories are the small details that many don't consider. The way you dress for your engagement photos can either give you that warm and fuzzy feeling, or leave you wondering why the photos looks so uncoordinated.
If you're thinking of an evening shoot with an elegant scenery, consider a gorgeous dress (for ladies) and a fitted blazer and slacks (for men). If you're considering a beach theme, perhaps stay away from plaid and jeans.
Also think about wearing that beautiful set of earrings, watches, bracelets and necklaces that just don't seem to make it out of your jewelry drawers!
